Students: There were several projects turned in without names. Please check StudentVUE to see if it says "Missing" when you think you turned it in. Yours may be one of these. If your project was an essay, a map, or a comic, check the back wall. If it was a diorama, see me. (I will give you credit for turning it in on time once I see whose it is.) Many "Gift" project rubric sheets have not been turned in. These are required. Please get these in ASAP. Objectives: -- Explain how the Indus River Valley society meets (or doesn't meet) the criteria of a civilization Activities: -- Show students announcements about no-name projects and need for rubric sheets to be handed in -- Complete reading the first part of the "Mohenjo Daro: A Mystery" story in The Ancient World (p. 116-121) -- Take note on the Indus River Valley (see below) -- Take notes on the 5 Traits of a Civilization (see below) -- Watch John Green video (Crash Course #2 on Indus River Valley) -- Begin to put examples from Indus River Valley video into Traits of Civilization notes Independent Learning: -- None -- Many "Gift" project rubric sheets have not been turned in.
