Students: There were several projects turned in without names. Please check StudentVUE to see if it says "Missing" when you think you turned it in. Yours may be one of these. If your project was an essay, a map, or a comic, check the back wall. If it was a diorama, see me. (I will give you credit for turning it in on time once I see whose it is.) Many "Gift" project rubric sheets have not been turned in. These are required. Please get these in ASAP. Objectives: -- Determine performance level at applying universals of culture to scenarios and identifying the universals of culture of a civilization. -- Describe the location of the Indus River Valley Activities: -- Turn in "Gift of the Nile" project (essay, map, diorama, or comic) + rubric sheet -- Go over what substitute reported -- Go over yesterday's activity of identifying the universals of culture in Egypt -- Receive and go over graded UC half-sheet -- Passed out 3+ opportunities for UC sheet (see "Notes/Handouts" below) -- Introduction to Indus River Valley civilization -- Read p. 116 - 121 in The Ancient World Independent Learning: -- None, but many "Gift" project rubric sheets have not been turned in.
