Objectives: Construct support for a claim Write a letter using proper format Activities: Look at and critique some summarizing paragraphs from yesterday Introduce planner letter assignment: Go over rubric (content & format) Go over sample Go over recommended order of completion Begin work on graphic organizer If time allowed, begin work on notebook paper or on laptop Independent Learning: Check StudentVUE/Do any missing assignments Organize backpack Resupply pencils if needed (Planner letter is NOT independent learning-- there will be some time in class on Monday to complete work.)
